Farm Worker
Job Description
The Farm Worker will perform various agricultural tasks to support the day-to-day operations of a farm, contributing to the production of crops and/or livestock. This role includes planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as feeding, watering, and caring for animals. The Farm Worker will also be responsible for operating and maintaining farm equipment, such as tractors, plows, and irrigation systems. Additional duties may include repairing fences, cleaning barns, and assisting with the transportation of products to market. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and a strong understanding of agricultural practices. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, plows, and harvesters.
Knowledge of basic agricultural practices, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
Experience in caring for livestock, including feeding, watering, and maintaining animal health.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to work long hours during peak seasons, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Willingness to learn new farming techniques and adapt to changing agricultural practices.
