Nutritionist / Dietician
Job Description
The Nutritionist/Dietician will provide expert dietary advice, develop nutrition plans, and support clients in achieving their health and wellness goals. This role involves conducting nutritional assessments, creating personalized meal plans, and educating clients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices. The Nutritionist/Dietician will work with individuals managing chronic health conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease, as well as those seeking weight management or improved overall health. The role also includes staying current with the latest nutrition research, conducting workshops or seminars, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. The Nutritionist/Dietician will play a key role in promoting long-term health and wellness through evidence-based dietary practices.
Job Requirements
A degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
Certification as a dietician or nutritionist, with experience in clinical or community nutrition.
Strong understanding of nutrition science, including macro and micronutrient requirements and dietary guidelines.
Experience in developing personalized meal plans for clients with various health conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.
Ability to conduct nutritional assessments and interpret lab results to inform dietary recommendations.
Familiarity with dietary counseling for special populations, including pediatric, geriatric, and sports nutrition.
Proficient in educating clients on healthy eating habits, weight management, and food label reading.
Experience in managing group nutrition programs, workshops, or educational seminars.
Strong communication and counseling skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to stay current with nutrition research and integrate evidence-based practices into client care.
