Beneficiary Attendant

Job Description

The Beneficiary Attendant will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meals. They will monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the medical staff. The role also involves helping to maintain a clean and safe environment, promoting social interaction, and providing emotional support to residents and their families. This position demands a high level of patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for those in your care.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is preferred.

A certification or diploma in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field is an asset.

Strong understanding of hygiene and safety protocols in a healthcare setting.

Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care tasks, including lifting and transferring.

Good communication skills in French, both verbal and written.

Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to support the elderly and vulnerable individuals.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
